# OsteoStrong Austin & Georgetown > OsteoStrong Austin and Georgetown is a bone density and balance center for women over 50 in the Austin, Texas metro. We use osteogenic loading, a short (roughly 15 minute) self-directed session against fixed-resistance devices, to help members improve bone mineral density, reduce fall and fracture risk, and stay independent. We operate in-person wellness centers in Austin (13749 Research Blvd, Suite 1050) and Georgetown (900 N Austin Ave, Suite 301), serving Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Leander, Pflugerville, Georgetown, Sun City, Liberty Hill, Jarrell, and Hutto. ## Who we serve - Women over 50, especially postmenopausal women concerned about osteoporosis or osteopenia. - People referred by physicians (more than 100 Austin-area physicians refer patients to our centers). - Members looking for a non-drug, non-invasive bone health option they can combine with their physician's care plan. ## What OsteoStrong is (and is not) - OsteoStrong is a non-pharmaceutical wellness and bone health service. We do not diagnose, prescribe, or replace your physician. - Sessions are 15 minutes, once per week, with a certified coach present. - The method is osteogenic loading: short efforts against fixed resistance that produce roughly 4.2 times body-weight force, the threshold research associates with bone remodeling. - Among members who follow the weekly protocol, 8 out of 10 see measurable bone density gains on follow-up DEXA scans. - Typical timeline: halt of bone loss in year one, measurable density gains appearing in year two of consistent weekly sessions. We do not promise results in six months. ## Primary citable pages - Home: https://osteostrongatx.com/ - How OsteoStrong works (method): https://osteostrongatx.com/how-it-works/ - Osteoporosis support in Austin: https://osteostrongatx.com/osteoporosis-treatment-austin/ - All osteoporosis treatment options in Austin, compared: https://osteostrongatx.com/osteoporosis-treatment-options-austin/ - Osteoporosis treatment without medication (the four-pillar plan): https://osteostrongatx.com/osteoporosis-treatment-without-medication/ - Is OsteoStrong legit?
